earlier this evening i was kickin' back reading some random blogs. one i came across was titled "eat well, stay fit, die." how appropriate. i laughed.
oh, how i hate my talents. i like this blog's design better than my own (my own
blog, i mean.. i designed both of them), so, since i am an admin for this one too, i'll use it instead. i think it's interesting how i got jealous of jerod having this blog to use.
anyhoo.
i (sort of) finished my
shopping cart for my asp.net class. i still have to finish the "view cart" page.. i need to add a "go back to shopping" link, plus a "remove item(s)" button. but, i think it's looking pretty good for now. i also need to make it prettier. yes, i know i can come up with a much better site design (as proven here :p), but i was most concerned with getting the code functional. first working code, then pretty site.
i want to do something different. i know we (that is, i, jason, james, jerod, and matt (listed in order of appearance, not importance)) have a shared blog on the comic, but i have this strange desire for everyone to have one blog to post to. it makes sense to me; we all tend to read (at times, if not often) each others' posts, and it would simplify things: we'd only have one blog to check, instead of.. hold on..
five different blogs (not including emily's and ayjay's, but emily never posts and ayjay's not even an aquaintance) to check for posts
and responses. speaking of, i think i shall remove the trackback links on hypocracy and this one. they're good for nothing, they're never used, and they bork up google to no end. but enough bloggers and tech savvy persons have ranted about that, so i shall bore you no longer.
by the way, and this goes to emily and my other friends who read hypocracy, when i don't feel like typing out its full name (and this happens often), i refer to it as h.101. it's full name is //hypocracy.101, but it's easier to shorten that baby up.
does anybody care how it got its name? it's actually an amusing little tale, and i shall tell it if you want.
