i installed red hat 9 on my computer over the weekend. now, here at school (now that i'm done with java for the semester), i'm downloading apps for it, including firefox and open office. i discovered that rh9's media player has removed support for playing mp3s due to some license agreement. grr. so i'm also trying to find a replacement for that, too.

anybody think of anything else i need? i got gaim already, and i don't think there exists an msn messenger *nix port..

i'm gonna have fun with maelstrom. matt would remember our co-op that always ended in disaster.
