4:31 PM :
i'm gonna have to find a free image hosting site soon. keenspace, my comic host and the unaware participant in hosting miscellaneous images for me (including avatars and the shadow image), has decided to lock itself down. this means that the image has gone bye-bye. but fear not! i have fixed it, as i have waffle5's avatars, by moving them all to my webspace on carroll's own webserver. the downside to this is that i'll have to move everything again (along with changing their references in multiple html documents) once i graduate. one might think, then, that it's a good thing that i won't graduate for at least another semester, maybe two. but trust me, it's not.

i must admit, i have been remiss with updating here. i have been extremely busy, and my fiancee, you understand, holds more importance to me than a silly website, no matter how cool it is. and trust me. this one is cool. it kicks all your muffins.

yesterday was not a fun day. it started out alright.. actually, it started out rather well. i teach a teen Bible class every sunday morning at 9:30, and i usually go to church then at 11 (sometimes i go to the 8:00 service, but not often; i am not a morning person). i'm really just an assistant teacher.. the other guy always leads. but this week he's on vacation (with his son, so i was missing a body), so i went solo. we really had alot of discussion. the lesson was about church congregations, and the importance of involvement in the church.. we even touched on decision theology and predestination. it was good.

then, after church, i went home and mowed. i used the riding mower, since i prefer not spending any energy with this kind of thing. however! no sooner than i finish the lawn do i discover that the mower has a flat tire; and upon looking at the lawn at second glance, i realized that it needs to be re-mowed. gaaaaahhh!

oh, well. six more hours to go. having fun yet?

i worked a 4 to close shift at mcdonald's, on top of all that. this kind of shift is a rarity for me; usually, they have me work a 7 to close or less. i basically spent the entire afternoon either pining away my lost beautiful day where i could be riding my bike around (sniff) or getting pissed off at everyone who dared to look in my general direction. i was glad to be out of there. at least it was a quick close. not a mike close, mind you, but less than 15 minutes is still wonderfully, blessedly short.

holy mother of all rants, batman! i'll let you go now.
