hi, liz.

i had a pretty nondescript day. i had thought to go in to work (that is, the office) an hour early - starting at 7:30 instead of 8:30 - because i had to work at mcdonald's at 6 (this meant that i'd have to leave the office an hour earlier than i normally would). but instead, i decided to sleep in.

i worked from 8:30 to 4:30, then i left for home so i could eat something before mcd's. mom called me on my way home, telling me that the two books i'd reserved had come in. i quick stopped by the library before heading home and picked up the two books (birth of an age and dark tower vi: song of susannah). the first book, birth of an age, is actually the second of three, a series called the christ clone trilogy. i'm a tad more than a fourth through the first of the series, in his image, and it's pretty interesting. at the speed i read at, i should be done with it in no time anyway.

i was scheduled to work at 6 (an hour earlier than my availability says.. stupid mcd's. next week friday i'm supposed to work at 5:15. i really need to talk to someone) to close. but there were five closers working tonight, plus the manager (megan). we were so slow that she sent me home at 9:40. crazy. so now i'm chillaxin' (hi james!) at home. liz made me post.
