i'm back, after a little hiatus from the blog. i'm thinking i'll have to quit the comic for a while, due to lack of a scanner. if anyone can find me a scanner, that'd be great. my family has a scanner, but it sucks. jason gave me a scanner, but it doesn't even turn on, since he spilled grape juice on it. nice, jay. thanks alot.

i hope nobody minded the little poem. i'm trying to get back into writing them. i have over 100 poems sitting on my computer, half of them seen by my eyes alone. would there be any interest here to read them? i'd like to share, but since most of them are about faith, particularly my own spriritual struggles, i think no one would care too much. at any rate, i'd like to know what you guys think.

i'm working on next week's (and the week after that) comic, and after that i'm going home. i want someone else to do something. or be my scanner. i've tried the whole jason route for scannage, and i'm not willing to do that again. does anybody else have a scanner? all i ask is that you scan something in for me, then send it back.. don't care how, as long as the scan itself is clean. anyhoo.

anybody try the new itunes? i see no difference.

i got the updated xmms media player for red hat linux, which actually plays mp3s. i am happy. now looking for some cool wp's. i tried out firefox, but i think i like mozilla better.. i don't know. firefox doesn't like css, it seems. waffle5 doesn't display properly in it. i'll try out mozilla when i get home. i'm gonna try and seek out some other browsers for linux later.

i got my proxy set up, but now i have to re-install windows on it anyway. there are some residual policies still active on it since its use on the network up at minnesota, and they don't like file sharing. bah.

open office is good to me. :) i think i won't put office 2000 on jess's computer after all.. even though she has her own copy (which she got for $10.. envy her, james), open office is better. plus it supports ms file extensions anyway.

oh, and laura, consider it done. ;)

i'm sorry to prolong this post even more, but james, can you come with jerod and myself to see hellboy on friday (that is, tomorrow)? anyone else wanna come? pete has to work :p
