i swear, writing a web page for ie is like trying to do trig on a calculator on which root beer has been spilled. every time you think you've got it right - nope!

the page looks perfect, just the way i want it, in firefox. but for some reason, the pixel width is
wider in ie, the space in between the posts and links is
wider. i don't get it, but i'm done trying to fix that. at least there are no glitches in firefox (which is more than i could say for the last version), and i guess i can live with that.
if all goes well, i should have a new,
full-time job within a week. and, if that comes to pass, i'll be eligible for health insurance starting in january. good, because i
need it.
i also need a concordance. i may borrow my dad's. it'll prove very useful when writing my own bible study lessons for those teens.
on to other things.
i don't understand, andrea. what does it matter if james doesn't talk about you in his posts? he spends time with you, doesn't he? and isn't that time spent more important than any words about you that he could say?
if you look at all my posts, i almost never even
mention jess, except perhaps in passing. and she's my
wife, for crying out loud. but that lack of mention does not lessen my love for her - there's just other stuff i want say, and that's all i want to say. i don't need to talk about my love to validate it to myself.
now, andrea, if you feel the need to talk about james, you go right ahead. (no sarcasm here, trust me. i'll let you know.) it's your blog, and you can do with it as you wish. but by that same token, james can do with
his blog as
he wishes, as well. if he doesn't mention you an a post, i'm pretty sure that you can still rest in the knowledge that he cares for you just as much as when he was with you. it just seems to me that you were pretty bitter in one response, so i wanted to speak.
if i am out of line, i apologize. if i offended you, well, at least that's no big change from the usual. but remember, this is
my blog and i can do with it as
