i wonder when it was that deej's little comic died. that saddens me. speaking of dead, still no life from bloggy.

st. luke's wants me to make their website. it's more or less official now. that makes paul happy.

on a less joyful church-related note, i would like to be asked - not volunteered - to be a greeter before church. for one thing, my wife works until midnight at kohl's, and we'd love to take advantage of sleeping for an extra half an hour sunday mornings, if we can get away with it. for another, that's just rude. if they want us to greet, how about suggesting it? how about saying, "hey, we want you to greet until january, how about it?" instead of "hey, i signed you up for greeting from now until the end of the age." a little, i don't know, courtesy?

but then, judging from the way some of those so-called teachers have been treating jess since she graduated, that's a foreign thing, like those edible rice plates they have in china. or so i'm told.
